Bonus coverage from Channel 4 Racing. For those who are considering a wager on tomorrow's Golden Shaheen at the Dubai World Cup meeting, there is good news! Channel 4 are showing the 2.55 pm race as part of their afternoon racing coverage. Character Building to miss Aintree Grand National.Character Building, a leading Grand National contender, and the impressive winner of the Foulke Walwyn & Kim Muir Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, is to miss the chance for Aintree glory. Unfortunately, he was found to be lame this morning, and connections have indicated he will now be re-directed to the Coral Scottish Grand National at Ayr on 18 April. Dunwoody joins Fairyhouse weights gallop. The official weigh-in for the Powers Irish Whiskey Grand National is to take place at Fairyhouse racecourse this coming Monday 30 March, and as a prelude to the big race, a fair number of the potential contendors will take the opportunity to have a gallop on the Fairyhouse track. As the official ambassador for the Powers Irish Whiskey Grand National, former national hunt champion jockey Richard Dunwoody will be among the riders on board representatives from the Noel Meade, Dessie Hughes and Tony Martin yards, with potential runners; Casey Jones, Parsons Pistol, Oulart, Vic Venturi, New Bay Prop, and Hold The Pin being among the horses to be galloped over the Fairyhouse turf. Despite the economic down-turn, Fairyhouse remains as one of Ireland's most popular racing festivals, and over a million euros will be on offer to the competitors involved in the three day Fairyhouse Festival of Racing. Channel 4 to cover Dubai World Cup.In addition to the usual Morning Line and Saturday Racing programmes, to celebrate their twenty fifth anniversary, Channel 4 Racing are screening an extra programme between 5.15 and 5.45 pm tomorrow which will show the world's richest horse race, the Dubai World Cup. Scoop Six Update. With the Scoop Six having rolled over for a couple of weeks, there is already a combined pot in excess of a quarter of a million pounds riding on tomorrow's racing activity. The Win Fund currently stands at £184.240, and the Bonus Fund holds £78,940, and these combined figures will almost certainly top four hundred thousand pounds by tomorrow afternoon. The six races you need to solve to win this week's Win Fund are: Kempton 2.25 pm, Doncaster 2.45 p m, Kempton 3.00 p m, Doncaster 3.20 pm, Kempton 3.35 p m, and Doncaster 3.55 p m. All of tomorrow's races are on the flat, and are all shown on Channel 4. O'Connor fighting for life.Following a heavy fall at the fith last in the Templemore Beginners Chase at yesterday's Thurles meeting, jockey Matt O'Connor, who is attached to the Colm Murphy yard, was immediately diagnosed with head injuries, and was rushed to nearby Clonmel Hospital. Later in the day, the seriousness of the injury necessitated an urgent transfer to the neuro surgical ward at Cork University Hospital. Although officials are confirming O'Connor is critical but stable, it is known he is having to use a respirator, and that his injury is currently life threatening. On behalf of Racingsight, may we offer our best wishes to O'Connor and his family at this trying time. Murtagh confident about chances of Asiatic Boy.Johnnie Murtagh is said to be confident Asiatic Boy, his intended ride in tomorrow's Dubai World Cup, is in fine form, and the 'Group One Maestro' believes race favourite Albertus Maximus will have to be at his very best if he is to defeat Murtagh's mount.Connections suspect Sheema could be tactical. With the absence of a confirmed front runner in Saturday's Dubai Sheema Classic at Nad al Sheeba, the connections of Purple Moon and Doctor Dino believe the race will turn into a tactical affair with a likely sprint finish, and this will not suit their out and out stayers. Based on this information, it is likely the two european raiders will now drift in the betting for tomorrow's race. McCoy spoilt for choice.Despite losing King Johns Castle from the line-up for next week's Aintree Grand National, owner J P Macmanus still has four chances to win the race he covets the most. The problem is, Tony McCoy has also not won the Grand National, and he now has to decide which horse from the list of; Butlers Cabin, Can't Buy Time, L'Ami and Reveille, will give him, and his retainer, the best chance of a first win in next week's race. If Tony happens to read this article, at Racingsight, our in-house handicapper thinks L'Ami has the best chance of securing the win both men want so much. Russell desperate for War of Attrition to make it to Aintree.Like Tony McCoy, leading Irish national hunt jockey Davy Russell has never won an Aintree Grand National, and he is desperate for the Mouse Morris trained War of Attrition to make it through the next week with no upsets, as he is sure the 2006 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner has the stamina and class to secure victory in next week's Aintree main event. Mangan hopeful of National repeat.Jimmy Mangan, who landed a large gamble when his Monty's Pass landed the Grand National a few years ago, is very hopeful his eleven year old Himalayan Trail will go close in this year's race. Speaking yesterday Mangan commented, "He is a Spring horse, and he has come to himself in the last few weeks, and we already know he can jump the Aintree fences, so I am very hopeful of a first three finish".
