Seventeen tickets share Scoop Six.With more favourable results in today's Scoop Six contest, seventeen winning tickets will each receive a dividend of fifty eight thousand eight hundred and six pounds thirty pence from today's roll over Win Fund. They will now compete for the record roll over Bonus Fund of £3,184, 360, which will probably be decided on next week's Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter. Although seven of the punters appear to be individuals, with ten tickets being held by syndicates, it is likely tactical selecting in next week's Bonus Race will almost certainly see it won for the first time since last August. McCoy lands double on Golden Sunbird.Golden Sunbird had been very well supported in Ireland this morning, and under a patient ride from Tony McCoy, the third favourite landed today's Listed Mares Bumper with plenty in hand. In the last furlong the only danger was from the well supported second favourite Kentucky Sky, but try as she might in the closing stages, the runner up never had the class to pass Golden Sunbird, and she enabled McCoy to secure a twenty to one double on the day. Flipando gamble never in doubt.Flipando had been backed as the sure thing of the day, and under a confident ride from jockey Jamie Spencer, he came cruising up the outside of his field to land today's William Hill Lincoln Trial at Wolverhampton, with the ever present Ace of Hearts holding on to second place. Dave does it for Gerrity and Henderson. In today's Sandown Imperial Cup, the anti post favourite Mister Thriller tried to make all under Tom Scudamore, but at the entrance to the home straight on the final circuit, the warning signs were obvious to see as Scudamore gave David Pipe's four year old a couple of reminders. Meanwhile, Nicky Henderson's Dave's Dream, who had done well to return to racing after suffering from a muscle wasting disease, had given Barry Gerrity a dream ride, and at the second last, he took over, and hugging the stan side rail he went on to win well. The other David Pipe runner, Seven is my Number, had assumed on-course favouritism before the start of the Imperial Cup, but both he, and eventual third placed Prince Tame, had a bad run through, and neither of them could pull back the winner, who had made sure of the race early in the straight. Anti post favourite Mister Thriller did well to stay on under pressure, and he held on to fourth place. McCoy shows his strength. In Sandown's 2.35 p m three mile chase, Tony McCoy once more showed why his the champion jockey. He led from the start on favourite Fresh Air and Fun, and although he had a willing partner, some inconsistant jumps always kept the 'champ' on his toes. When he came to the cross fence on the final circuit, Fresh Air and Fun put in a great jump, and McCoy nudged him to a four length lead approaching the second last. However, as he approached the last, the leader began to lose interest in front and McCoy had to remind him of his task. Although eventual runner up Trigger the Light came close in the last few strides, McCoy had done enough to hold on to victory. Ceremonial Jade snatches victory in final stride. In Wolverhampton's Listed Lady Wolfrunner Stakes, co-favourite Aeroplane did himself no favours when missing the kick. Beckomet, who is better known as a sprinter, took up the pace, but Vits Nau, who had been off the track for over two hundred days, always looked dangerous, and with just over a furlong to go, Jimmy Fortune stoked him up, and he took ove the lead. However, just as Vits Nau seemed certain to win, Ceremonial Jade came with a late run and snatched victory on the line. Aeroplane was also flying at the finish, but Jamie Spencer always had too much to do, and he did well to finish third. Fran starts Pipe bandwagon rolling. With What A Buzz trying to make all in the Grade Three Hurdle at Sandown Park, it was the late finishers who took the major honours. David Pipe's Big Eared Fran had run most of the two and a half mile race amongst the back numbers, but as the horses left the back straight, Andrew Macnamara made his move, and between the last two hurdles his mount asserted. Despite making a jump to his right at the last obstacle, Big Eared Fran ran on well to score with plenty in reserve. Backbencher also came from off the pace to snatch second place from the brave What A Buzz. Here we go again!Yet another Saturday with a record Scoop Six combined jackpot, and in the weekend just before the Cheltenham Festival, wouldn't it be a super week to pick up a prize worthy of the national lottery. With today's Win Fund expected to be around a million pounds, and next Saturday's Bonus Fund topping the three million pound mark, many punters will be relying on the Pond House stables of David Pipe to at least provide one leg of today's Scoop Six. David, and his father Martin before him, have won the Sandown Imperial Cup no less than eight times, and many punters will expect Mr Thriller to be the successful choice for the fourth leg of today's bet. The actual races for whiich you need to concentrate your efforts are as follows; the 2.05 p m at Sandown Park, the 2.20 p m at Wolverhampton, the 2.35 p m at Sandown Park, the Imperial Cup - 3.10 Sandown Park, the 3.35 p m at Wolverhampton, and the 3.45 p m at Sandown Park. Moore follows same route to Aintree.Arthur Moore is to run King John's Castle in the Johnstown Handicap Hurdle at Naas on Sunday, a race he won last year before going on to finish second to Comply or Die in the 2008 Grand National. Moore is confident his charge is as fit as he can be after a long lay off, but he will only be able to judge his Grand National hopes after King John's Castle has completed Sunday's race. "If he comes out of the race in one piece, we will almost certainly go back to Aintree for the big one". Nina Carberry wins Cheltenham Award.Leading Irish lady national hunt jockey Nina Carberry, who has won the last two runnings of Cheltenham's Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase aboard Heads on the ground in 2007 and Garde Champetre in 2008, has won the prestigious Cheltenham award for the outstanding contribution made by a lady to jump racing.
