Supaseus secures front running Cambridgeshire success.

The Hughie Morrison trained Supaseus virtually led from start to finish in the Totesport Cambridgeshire at Newmarket, and even a driving finish by Joe Fanning on the Mark Johnston trained Tartan Gigha was repelled as the game handicapper held on by a nose at the line.

Nanton followed up last year's second with a fine effort to secure third place under nine stone three pounds, while the heavily supported filly Applause ran on to snatch fourth place in today's thirty two runner first leg of the Autumn Double.

Lucky Like takes Redcar juvenile sales race.

Making light of the blustery conditions, Lucky Like was an impressive winner of today's Totepool Trophy Sales Race at Redcar, storming clear in the final furlong to score from Captain Kirkup and Nose Dive.

After second favourite Pastorel Player refused to enter the starting stalls, race favourite Angel Pursuit was very disappointing, and failed to land a blow in the closing stages of today's six furlong contest.

Sahpresa denies Ghanaati her moment in the Sun.

When Richard Hills brought Ghanaati alongside early leader Spacious at the two furlong from home marker in today's Group 1 Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes, it seemed likely she would add to her Group 1 victories in the 1,000 Guineas and Coronation Stakes, but warning signs began to arise when the Rod Collet trained french raider Sahpresa continued to run on strongly. At the furlong pole, Hills went to work on Ghanaati, but she had no answer to the sweet tune Ted Durkan was conjurering from Sahpresa, and the french raider stormed up the Newmarket hill to score her first ever Group 1 success by a length and a half.

Ghanaati ran on at one pace for second position, and the original front runner Spacious held off a late challenge from Strawberry Daquiri to take third place.

Suicidal tactics cause Goldikova defeat?

In today's Group 1 Prix de Foret at Longchamp, Olivier Peslier tried to take an early prominent position on Goldikova despite her wide draw, and many post race opinions suggested he had used up too much of the filly's effort in this action, and then he compounded the situation by asking the multi Group 1 winner to make all. Certainly, Goldikova seemed drained when challenged by Sweet Hearth and then Varenar in the closing stages, and it was the Stephane Pasquier ridden Varenar who prevailed, with even Sweet Hearth denying Goldikova the solice of runner up berth.

such a fast early pace his filly ran out of stamina in the final furlong and was passed by both Varana and Sweetheart.

Shock winner of Tattersalls Timeform Million.

The Ralph Beckett trained Oasis Dancer was up with the pace throughout today's seven furlong Tattersalls Timeform Million Sales Race at Newmarket, and the 66/1 outsider landed a major shock victory as high drawn horses dominated the first four positions as the large field passed the winning post. Kona Coast and Take Ten took the minor honours, but the unluckiest horse was probably Aidan O'Brien's Alfred Nobel, for he cruised the verdict over his rivals on the near side, but had no answer to the high drawn horses.

Lillie Langtry steals the show.

In Newmarket's opener, the Tattersalls Timeform 800 Sales Race, Dubawi Heights and outsider set a cracking pace, and at the 'bushes' they had Johnnie Murtagh beginning to push on odds on favourite lillie Langtry. But as soon as the Pattern race winner met the rising ground of the final furlong, she started to lengthen, and swept past Dubawi Heights and Wave Band, the latter pair having to settle for second and third places respectively.

Three quarters of a million up for grabs.

There may be an estimated combined Win and Bonus Fund of three quarters of a million pounds up for grabs in today's Totesport Scoop Six Bet, but the races are so difficult punters will have to spend a couple of hourse pondering the form if they are to have a hope of cracking today's puzzle.

For those interested, the races you need to examine are as follows:

Leg 1 - 2.05 pm Epsom.

Leg 2 - 2.25 pm Newmarket.

Leg 3 - 2.40 pm Redcar.

Leg 4 - 3.00 pm Newmarket.

Leg 5 - 3.15 pm Redcar.

Leg 6 - 3.40 pm Newmarket.

Injury forces Lemaire to miss ride on Stacelita.

In an unusual incident, Christophe Lemaire fell during an Arabian horse race at Chantilly on Friday, and after a medical examination, the top french jockey was found to have fractured his collar bone, and the injury now rules him out of riding Stacelita in Sunday's Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe.

Stacelita's trainer Jean Claude Rouget while sympathizing with Lemaire, now has to find a top class jockey to ride his controversial Pricx Vermeille winner in Sunday's Longchamp centrepiece.

Aga Khan filly held in very high regard.

For punters who follow the fortunes of the Aga Khan's horses, this morning we have a direct tip from his main trainer. Alain de royer-dupre believes Rosanara could be as good as Zarkava, and certainly the way she disposed of her rivals on her first outing at Longchamp suggests she could be very special.

Now this morning, the trainer has put on record his belief Rosanara is his best chance of a winner at this weekend's two day 'Arc Meeting', and he is confident the daughter of Sinndar will have too much for her rivals in the Prix Marcell Boussac.

Olivier Peslier to partner War Artist.

James Eustace is delighted he has retained the services of Olivier Peslier abord six year old War Artist in Sunday's Prix de L''Abbaye. In an interview this morning, the trainer said,

"Olivier won on him in the Prix du Petit Couvert three weeks ago over the Abbaye course and distance, and he indicated after the race he would like the ride in the Abbaye. I am just glad as to how things have worked outt, particularly as Olivier believes his previous experience of the same track will prove invaluable on Sunday."

Sparkling Mastercraftsman now en route to Breeders Cup.

Always sitting comfortably behind a fierce pace in last evening's ten furlong Listed Diamond Stakes at Dundalk, Mastercraftsman completed the perfect Breeders Cup trial, picking up smartlyfor Johnnie Murtagh at the three furlong marker, then showing his real class by extending to a five length win over eventual runner up Fiery Lad.

Aidan O'Brien was delighted after the race, commenting,

"You have to be impressed with that performance. They went a cracking pace, but Johnnie Murtagh knows the horse better than anyone, and he just kept him relaxed throughout. At least we now know he will get ten furlongs on an all wether surface, and all we have to do now is decide whether to go for the Breeders Cup Mile or the Breeders Cup Classic."

Howdigo replaces Sweet Lightning.

First reserve Howdigo was promoted to the thirty five strong Cambridgeshire field on Friday after Sweet Lightning was ruled out with a high temperature.
