Curragh fixtures for Naas.

Horse Racing Ireland have indicated, when the Curragh is closed for major redevelopment of its facilities from later this year, most of the primary racing fixtures will be transferred to Naas Racecourse.  

Two of Four for New Approach.

Trainer Jim Bolger has stated New Approach will probably have two more races this season. This means, the colt will run in two races selected from the Juddmonte International at York, the Irish Champion Stakes, the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe, and the Breeders Cup Classic.

Time Called on Sergeant Cecil.

Following his poor performance in yesterday's Goodwood Cup, Sergeant Cecil, the former top distance specialist has been retired from racing.
